| Hi I have just joined and was interested in your discussions last year re: parcelization. We have recently had notification that ours had been completed, but now they have come up with the fact that we do not have footpaths and drains along our dead-end road. Has anyone else come up this problem and what can be done.
Rumours are it will cost us villa owners 72,000 lira to put right, but on a "wink wink" it can be arranged for less, how can this be right, Help!!! |

Are you on a development or just one single villa?
Usually it is the responsibility of the builder to install footpaths around the perimeter of your villa.
As for drains that should be part of the make up of the road so is your road made up? |

| From first observation it sound as if someone is trying to squeeze more money out of the owners.
Whatever you do dont hand over a penny, as something else will (no doubt) come to light to prevent you getting your title deeds. |

| Your roads and therefore drains are the Belediyesi's responsibility. Do you have street lighting installed? And is it the Belediyesi that are asking for money or your builder?
Normally the builder and the Belediyesi share the cost for the access road. I presume you come under Lapta Belediyesi? |

| We had a new tarmac road laid when the last elections were taking place, We do have street lighting, i believe although not 100% sure but when the areas were inspected thats when they said the pavemments and drains were necessary to complete the parcelization |
