I had two mosquitoes on the car windscreen yesterday and found one in the house this afternoon.



I'm not taking any chances, the mosquito/insect repellent is back out now.



If you want to start stocking up now, I'll have it on sale at the Sunday market beside the Pine Bay Hotel in Karaoğlanoğlu tomorrow.



Roll on (quick and easy, and great size for the handbag) - 12tl

Spray with or without deet (for those with sensitive skin) - 16tl

Well I think I definitely timed it right. Quite a few people stocking up today on insect repellent at Chateau Lambousa in preparation for the mozzies. Don't worry, I'll be at the Sunday Market beside the Pine Bay Hotel in Karaoğlanoğlu tomorrow selling more tomorrow if you need some too.



Plenty in stock so if I run out tomorrow I'll be back at Chateau Lambousa again next Saturday.

Sorry I missed your message. The repellants are made by Calypso in the UK. They're a very popular brand and it's very good quality stuff. I've had some good feedback about them.

We are having our house painted at the moment and picking a light blue colour for one room the painter, a Turkish Cypriot,said that the colour blue keeps mosquitos away.

Has anyone else heard this ?
