Hi everybody

This is another post to try and help find my missing German Shepherd Boo who went missing on Friday.

I am giving £500 to anyone who returns Boo safe.Even if your not a dog lover why not go for a long walk on this beautiful day you never know you may spot him I will then give £500 cash to you or a charity of your choice.

It's possible someone may have him tied up in garden somewhere....if a new dog has appeared near you please call me on 0533 8383034 I am happy to chase up any lead no questions asked.

Yes I am getting desperate as I can't let this beautiful animal spend the rest of his days in a tiny metal cage just because he is a German Shepherd.

All I ask is you make one phone call is you see a German Shepherd walking alone.you could be £500 richer

If you see a "NEW" GERMAN SHEPHERD in a neighbors garden that has recently appeared, whilst out walking, then please get in touch with steamerpoint,.

Someone has him and dogs are not invisible. It may be that he has been stolen "to order" as GS are very popular with some people.

He may well be kept out of sight for a few days but will eventually be placed outdoors so observation is required for at least the next week.

steamerpoint - the volunteers/centre supervisor/community warden/staff from KAR are all keeping their eyes peeled when they are out and about. Fingers (and paws) crossed he will turn up soon. We had almost given up hope that Patch would be found but she turned up 9 days after disappearing.

Also the little Cyprus Terrier that was missing for weeks last month, just jumped in to the woman's car when she was shopping at the supermarket.

I walk my two dogs twice a day from Tropicana along top road into Catalkoy and will keep looking for Boo, lets hope he is found soon and returned to his rightful owners.

I did see a couple for the first time walking a german shepherd past my house (I did think it was you steamerpoint having found Boo). Obviously not. Will keep an eye out if they pass again.

I hope you have informed the vets (and that they pass it on to all other vets) and that Boo has been micro-chipped? That way, if he is ever taken in for treatment the vets will be able to inform you.



If he has been stolen, and it looks that way, then he will be not too far away as it will have been by someone who knew where he was living. So look close to home. house pets do not wander far, as they know where to get their food from.

I have been to the vets and left pictures there,all the pet shops..bars...supermarkets etc I really can't think of many more places to go.



I am thinking that he has possibly been taken so as you have said previously people need to look at there neighbours house...

Has a new dog appeared,I am happy to chase any new lead.



You have to wonder what kind of place have we come to where people steal family pets and leave poison..Boo was poisoned when he was a puppy.



I'm not going to give up he means too much to me.off to the newspaper this morning.

So So sad for you.

My dog is an overweight 7 yr old (diet in progress)

Think it's most unlikely that anyone would steal her, but if she went missing I would be totally devastated.

Will keep a lookout for Boo.

Do hope he will be home with you soon.

We have today been to Cyprus Today/Kibris and put in a photo of Boo together with the reward which will appear in tomorrows Kibris and Cyprus Today on Wednesday. Please please continue to look for our Boo someone, somewhere must have seen or heard something.

Just an idea, (as I did when my UK doggie wandered off in 2005) gave pictures to the local Dustman and what about giving to the water meter reader, sure they would keep an eye out if a reward is explained to them.

We have been to the belediyesi in Catalkoy and they are going to put up a poster and let their workers know including dustmen of Boo disappearance. The reward is shown on the poster we gave to them. Also a copy has been given to the postman.

all the information is on our other thread entitled missing German shepherd/ Alsatian. Boo is a 3 year old male. He disappeared from our home which is opposite the Dedeman Olive Tree in Catalkoy. He is very friendly. There are some photos of him shown above. Please please look out for him.

No sightings at all. Fourth night without our Boo. It will be a long lonely night again. Thanks for your help. We have placed a notice in the Kibris paper for tomorrow and Cyprus Today on Wednesday so fingers crossed someone somewhere will contact us.

Does boo have a red collar? As i saw a german shepherd dog a few days ago on its own running up the Club Fit/Star Bowling road in lower Ozankoy. It was a few days ago though, so I think if it was him he would have moved on by now. Sorry I didn't know your dog was missing then or i would have called you to see if it was him.

Hi I have had an email this morning from Mike saying there has been a sighting of a German Shepherd on Saturday on a hill in Arapkoy.



He is going to email me the newspaper cutting to post on here for all to print and post around the area.

Hi everyone







Update following the piece in the Kibris paper. We received a few calls and have just returned from two sightings of a German shepherd on the hill to lefkosa outside the Chinese. We found the German shepherd about hour ago and yes it s a German shepherd but unfortunately it's not our boo. We were unable to get close enough to see if he had a collar as he ran away when approached. Not sure if there are any more missing at the mo but if there are then its worth a visit in case.







We have also received two sightings on Arapkoy hill and one in ozankoy but unfortunately we were unable to find either dog. The sightings in Arapkoy were both seen by people on Saturday. The dog in ozankoy was behind the garage in the village. So if anyone lives in that area could you please keep a close eye out.







Boo is approx 40 kgs but very gentle.

Thanks everyone.

I hope this is going to end soon it can't keep going,this island is tiny and Boo is huge.

As time is going on I am thinking that the likelihood of Boo being tied up in a garden is a real possibility,Boo was brought up on two meals a day and mothered by an over weight chocolate Labrador so sleeping rough is not his style...he may look tough but he's only a family pet.

I think if someone picked him up as a pet they would rather the money but probably dont know about the reward so I think Turkish leaflets are next.

Another idea is paying to advertise him on a local turkish channel so any advise and help there would be appreciated.

She was beautiful.I had a call yesterday from a friend saying a German shepherd was in a garden in Ozankoy for 5 days...unfortunately it was 5 months...but he was identical to Boo apart from the ear colouring.tempremant the same...same size...I think I could have possibly fooled the children.

I saw your dogs missing sorry for it , dogs are like chilldren of us and i know its very hard to lose them , anyway 2 days ago i saw very similar dog to yours walking around itself near to mainroad of Alsancak - Lapta. He was hungry and so tired i think and its the dog %90 that you are looking for . I will go and check the all roads of those Lapta - Baspinar - Karsiyaka villages with my car and if i 'll see him i gonna catch it for you.



I dont want any money or other things, just wanna help bc. i my dog got lost last year i know this bad feeling, if i can help i will be glad.

Hi Iceman,I have considered this many times,what I don't want is people to steal pets to get a high reward so I am trying to stay sensible.for the kind people like yer6media who don't want the reward money I will happily give it to a charity of your choice.

I finally caught up with a GS stray in Ozenkoy with a red collar and swivel hoop,he was very friendly and the spitting image of Boo so if anyone has lost this dog let me know I will take you where he is staying.
