New stalls at Carpenters market this week!!!

Yes folks, carpenters has lots to offer this week, with 4 new stalls. The weather may have got the better of us last week, but the sunshine is back and so are we.

For pasta lovers we will have Claire selling delicious homemade, fresh Italian pasta and sauces and I am pleased to announce that Fatma is now back with her scrumptious cakes and pastries! Form a queue behind me everybody!

Up to the minute DVDs, Steve with a huge selection of books, Karen with wonderful fresh, freerange eggs, Tina pashmina and me with my pictures. Another new stall will be Tulay selling her beautiful Turkish style jewelery, very unusual, and a must if you are looking for a gift for a special lady.

Come and enjoy a coffee, away from the hustle and bustle in the lovely garden at carpenters.

New stalls are always welcome and this is the only FREE market in the area, come and chat with me if you are interested.

And me! and me!! I'll be back after our washout last week..still with a fantastic %50 off all the new and nearly new clothes. I'll have some Pandora style jewellery on display to show how you can make your own individual piece of jewellery at a fraction of the cost of "real " thing!

I'm sure Pam won't mind me replying to you MoBry..Carpenters is on the right hand side of the road, coming from Girne, after what used to be Bektas supermarket, just after Tempo. You turn just after a bus stop where our sign will be and you'll see us on the left hand side, in the gardens of Carpenters restaurant.

From Lapta,over the by-pass roundabout, soon after Bells on the right hand side you will see signs to Mountain View Hotel and Carpenters, or I think they have Malpas on the sign now too, and again will see us on the left hand side.

YOu can linger and have a coffee, hopefully sitting in the glorious sunshine tomorrow morning!!

Thanks for your reply. What time is the market on from? I understand from your reply that it's on Friday, but I'm booked for a massage at 10am, so would probably drop by afterwards.

Hi Mobry, the market starts at 10 o'clock and finishes at around 1pm on Friday.



From Lapta - turn left a couple of hundred metres after you pass the road which goes down to the Merit hotel - and a few metres after you pass Bell foods store. There is the Carpenters restaurant sign and a market sign at the junction with the main road. The Carpenters market is about 200 metres down on your left.



From Girne turn right about 80 metres after you pass, what used to be, the Bektas Supermarket.

Weather forecast for tomorrow is 21C and sunny, a little different from last week's hail! I'll be there with fresh pasta and sauces, meringue nests, tomato plants and cards of Cyprus.

Forgot to mention earlier - silly me! Yasmin will have lots of lovely plants for you to brighten up your garden and you can buy your tickets for the 'Royal' ball from Mike and Brenda.

It was great to see Carpenters market 'buzzin' again, thanks to everyone who supported us today, we had a lovely morning and I'm sure that Maureen was looking down on us and loving every minute of it! We will be back next week with yet another new stall, so watch this space. I saw quite a few people eating the most delicious looking lunches, I could have stolen it away from them, so why not think about treating yourself next Friday, no need to book, just come along, enjoy the market and a leisurely lunch.
