Has anybody here bought property in Turkey? I have been thinking about buying somewhere small in Turkey primarily for holidays and would be interested to know what areas you would recommend.

Thanks.

Hi joandjelly,

We did not buy property in Turkey but we wished we had. We looked around at several resorts and our favourites were Dalaman and Fetiya, both beautiful in different ways. Olay Deniz is next to Fetiya and is also very nice. Many years ago we went to Kusadasi and found that lovely but I understand it has changed beyond recognition now. There are still many apartments for sale at reasonable prices but like TRNC be aware of rogue developers and builders and ask all the right questions before you part with your money. Properties in land are generally a lot cheaper than the coast.

Hi

I have a friend who has two semi detached properties for sale in Fetiya. He is selling for about £37k.

The properties are empty all services etc. He bought the pair with a view to make into one, but has never got round to it so they are empty he has other property that he stays in.

Contact me off board if you want to know more.
