I am in the final stages of buying a apartment at caesar resort in famagusta.

I have been to the site and With the facilities on offer it seems very good value for money.

Has anyone else on forum had a look or bought there????????

hello everyone. Can someone direct me to Caesar resort issues i.e price of white goods, to buy from developer, or find it oneself. has anyone rented their apartment to students? etc. etc. Would be most grateful. thank you.

Email them and ask them or use their freefone number from UK. They have all the info you want, which will be a start anyway. Then you can compare with other suppliers. Renting to students may not make you popular with neighbours who want to have a nice quiet restful 'place in the sun' !

renting it to students is the worst idea one can consider.

with experience i faced horrible situations of considerable amount of damage

in apartments . dirt all over the place, wall stains by wine and other alcholic

drinks they party with . parties that go all night and disturb the nieghbours, foul language said and heard inside the block during these so called house parties,

etc etc

you will eventualy down grade the the whole resort and the value and reputation will fall well beneth its proper value.

semaj0 that was just the point I was trying to get over, but perhaps in a more subtle manner !

If I had a student let next to my place I would be very very annoyed.

It looks a good sales pitch for the development but it should rest there. In fact if they are 85% sold then perhaps that line should be deleted from the publicity (Roz?)

stodis, caesar resort, a little to far from Famagusta, for students. 'Northern Land' building nice apartments 'turkish title' next to university if your looking for rental income. Reasonably priced at 30-40k, worth a look

Nancy, is this your usual way to greet your neighbours?

It may be wise to keep your opinions to yourself and bring them out in personal conversation at an appriopriate time as you think fit.

I have no 'money to burn', my hard earned cash has gone into our holiday home, and I too had a smooth handover.

Be reassured that you are not the only person to live in the 'real world' who also has a holiday home in Caesar.

Please be polite, thank you.

Apology accepted, we are all nice people at Caesar ;o)

So lets keep up standards that at times are unfortunately not observed on other threads on the forum. You are not alone suffering the weather in the UK at present, but its possession of our little place in North Cyprus that keeps us happy isn't it ? So all our thoughts and comments should be upbeat happy ones !
