Hi Trigger

The only wall round the resort is about 4-5 foot but its only the garden walls. The main security wall etc will be when the complex is completed, and yes my apartment was completed exactly as I was told it would be and as stated on my contract.

Have a great time next week Guin !

Kind regards

Jamie

OK so I won't be climbing the walls then !

But the old pictures on their website did give the impression of a higher wall, but it was just a low camera position. This can now be seen in the new 2009 pictures they have posted this week.

I will do my best not to have too much fun next week in all those official offices applying for things and paying money :o(

Trigger, I can now confirm a couple of things.

The wall you see in the pictures of completed blocks is the outer 'security' wall. It is 145 cm from top of foundation to top side of the coping stone on the outside. (There are support pillars abot every maybe 4 metres). Inside they have added topsoil when landscaping. Although naturally a little variable in height, the wall inside ranges from 69 - 80 cm above the topsoil surface. The temporary stone road outside the perimeter is maybe 7 cm above the height of the foundations and I would think that the final finished road surface would be about the same. There are no internal walls except those that are ornamental etc round the public areas in the centre of the development. They do say that there will be surveillance inside the development observed by a security guard. HTH

Can you tell me where caesars resort is, as when we visited NC last August, we looked for it but couldn,t find it. We thought it showed it as being between Salamis Bay Hotel and Bogaz harbour.

Hi Pilgrim

Sorry I don't know whereabouts council beach picnic site is. Any other way of explaining it, is it before bogaz harbour or after bogaz harbour if you are going towards the Karpaz? If you went over last week, have you seen any movement you know where?

They work 7 days a week - unusual for the industry in TRNC at present.

Look on google Earth and follow the coast road down from Bogaz. To the west of the road you will see in one place a cluster of blue squares, click on each and you will get a picture of the development in its early stages - though Roz may have put new ones on by now. Alternatively find the blue square for 'tesko' on the Iskele/Lefkosa road and then track south by about a kilometre and you will find it.

In another post in the caesar section you will find a helpful grid reference to put in GE, can't remember it just now. Took a GPS fix of it last week but sadly am away from home and my gps. HTH

Trigger where are the ground floor appts? So far they all start at the first floor with undercroft parking (6 spaces) and the rest of the ground floor being store rooms.

Ok I get you, I am getting the impression that the plans are being altered as they see the market move, perhaps not a bad idea. Nice of the local planners to be so flexible over it ! Not so much hope for their opposite numbers in Blighty to be so obliging !
