OK so I know that this mail is going to bring in every kind of low life known on C44 to tell me how wrong I am to praise Arriva - Paul and Dan / Washerman - whatever. But I think the time has come for happy customers to speak up and show support for this duo.

Today we have renewed and updated our system to the OSN HD Showbox, Paul and Dan were prompt, totally courteous and thoroughly professional, we have a brilliant picture and a package we are extremely happy with. We made our choice, paid our money and are HAPPY.

I would happily recommend this system, Arriva, Paul and Dan to anyone looking for a good product, well installed by people that care about their customers. If you feel the seem - let's show support for these boys and their company - they deserve a break from the C44 attacks they get from the low life that undermine and hijack every post about them. Thankyou Paul and Dan, see you next year to renew AGAIN.

I have to agree 100% with message No1. Excellent service, first class package and all installed by two really nice, courteous, knowledgeable blokes. No complaints with my system, and, if it stays this good, will definitely renew next year.

Just to clarify something said previously by 6m , he quoted that you need a 4.2m dish to receive itv and bbc channels ?? Is this really the case? I was advised (hearsay) by a satellite shop owner that a 1m dish does the job amply, another word for gonads was used in my question regarding this enquiry to him !! This may help others trying to find out what is required and what is not.

I emailed you with some information (I still have the e-mails) that I had gained about your dealings in the South. I asked for your comments and you replied. This information was never posted by me or passed on to anyone else as I accepted your answers to the accusations.

As to me looking 'silly' I think it maybe you that is starting to 'look silly'. You actively tried to close down Dopi and guess what? despite the problems you caused them they are still trading.

As Proger1 has pointed out - he is just a grass, but not a very successful one:

He did repeatedly email the satellite companies who Dopi were using to send the decode signal to everyone's homes - he repeatedly complained to them and eventually, the satellite companies did suspend Dopi's signal. All the time that he was doing this, he was coming on here and making his predictions about them - it was him that was causing their problems (hardly predicitons)

They did have to move their dishes to different satellites periodically to maintain their service and this caused a lot of inconvenience for people in Northern Cyprus - Dopi's customers who had to keep having their boxes re-tuned and their dishes moved to alternative satellites. Dopi's customers have mmmmmm to thank for this !

All attempts to stop the attacks on Arriva/Dopi have fallen on deaf ears.Numerous e-mails have been sent to the owner and the mods yet they still allow 6ms to post on the forum.Other forums have imposed life long bans on this guy but CY44 for whatever reason appear to be afraid to do this.



Perhaps one of the mods or the owner will give its members an reasonble explanation as to why he has not been banned ,so that we can all get a better understanding as to whats going on.If they decide not to do this I can only assume that 6ms has got some form of hold over the owner.

I've correctly predicted problems re other sat tv offering that couldn't possible continue to offer a service they claimed was 'stable' and lots of members who were happy clients went strangely 'silent'...

Magicart supporters of the truth have been driven from this forum by relentless personal attacks by the likes of Paul and his supporters is a more accurate desciption in my opinion.



Certainly this was done to myself. Whilst attacks on myself and my personal integrity were not enough to stop me posting here, the attacks on any innocent business I mentioned in a positive manner were.



As a poster here I believe I have in the past added value to the forum. In the contributions I have made to threads, in the help I have given in threads and in the help I have given freely off board as well. I can say as fact I have never said anything about using OSN here in the TRNC that is not true. Nor has any 'support' I have given to Mark's arguments been anything other than truth.

The result of daring to say these truths has been imo an intentful sustained campaign by Paul and some of his supporters against me as a person and my integrity based on distortion and lies. I have helped AJ and DC set up the cyprusnow forum but it is their forum to run as they see fit. Just as I have helped others in the past where I can, nigels forum, glenco forum, north cyprus free press to name just a few. That is what I do. Help as and when I can if and when such help is wanted and it is what I will effectively be no longer doing via this forum, because Paul along with a few others has made it clear that he will make the 'cost' of daring to state facts about using OSN here or to be seen to support Mark in any way too high, not just for me but for entirely innocent univolved parties as well. That is how I see the situation here. Others may well see them differently.

FACT: as posted here many times .. I was a Director of a Sat TV company - one that expects honest clients to pay their subs MONTHLY in advance..



Dopi were cheating companies that paid for the TV rights ... I took GREAT delight in meeting representatives from Nova Cyprus, Orbit Showtime, etc getting a 'Dopi [Uran] unit and being sure we knew how to 'bugger 'em up...



I posted warnings as we knew EXACTLY when Dopi would have probs and if anyone lost money despite my warning for over a YEAR... then they only have themselves to blame..



Washerman, you even jumped on the 'bandwagon'- telling folks that Dopi wouldn't be able to show OSN anymore.. ;) [sic]

Doesn't one of the mods think it might be time to close this thread, it was started as a word of praise for someone who has provided good service to thier customer and turned into yet another, I know the future because I used to run a company and know everything thier is to know about what might happen.

As Hans has pointed out and he and I agreeing on something must give it some merit. You accuse it of not being a legit biz and a dodgy service and yet your original point was that it is just expensive compared to the way you could advice to get exactly the same thing although even more illegal as it is not imported legally.

You have said yourself it is grey market and as you said you saw on bbc click program, that is not illegal, the customers are telling you the service is very good so that can't be the dodgy part, what is your point then.

2/ Washerman's service is a grey market pirate operation - there is no doubting that OSN can and do turn off boxes they know aren't in the correct viewing area



a 'good service' is easy if you are supplying something you control - Washerman make 'claims' to have that..! ..despite what OSN clearly state to the contrary.. indeed 'someone' told our 'Cornish ( aka Jack Lobb) that he had such rights !



ANYONE can install a bin lid and supply an OSN box... there is no skill / service to THAT..





re 84 @ Hans - spit it out man - what do you want to say about Almere ?.. that you've enjoyed and still can enjoy access to an old SKY box -without a SKY card ? That means you can get BBC / ITV... Are you SO upset that I won't stop putting inverted commas around 'TRNC' ? ;)

Mark, you were the one who advised me of two techniques to achieve the exact same thing as Paul provides although both involved my crossing the green line with a product of a higher value than my allowance without registering the said product with the officials as I enter the North area of Cyprus.

That was what I was referring to and there is no twisting of any response, it is an absolute fact, I might even have the e-mails, skype messages and I definately have the ADMC box to prove it.

As I have just stated, you are advising people how to do exactly the same thing at a lower cost with even more risks and no possible support but at the same time saying it is illegal due to it being a grey Market pirate operation.

I still don't understand why you will place layer upon layer of misleading information together to supposedly help people you don't know in this country
