Demonstration against traffic accidents

Another demonstration was held in the capital this morning by students calling for an end to violations of traffic rules.

This morning’s demonstration was staged by students from Sehit Huseyin Ruso Secondary School.

The Society for the Prevention of Traffic Accidents gave its backing to the demonstration which was held within the framework of a series of actions organized by the Lefkosa Scouts Association in a bid to reduce one of the highest fatal traffic accident rates in Europe.

Tomorrow, a similar demonstration will be held by students from Atleks Sanverler secondary school.
