Hi what price for a taxi return from Larnaca airport 15.30 hrs 14th to lapta pines returning 23rd July to be at Larnaca airport for 13.30 hrs. Two adults and 2 teenagers (17 and 16) and associated luggage

Also is there anything within walking distance of Lapta pines or do we need a car? What is the local transport like etc.

First time to NC and really looking forward to it.

Thanks for a great forum.

Hi...normal price is about £60 each way....plus, you will need a car.

If you hire a car from Pacific rentals ( in the North )...they will charge you about £30 each way for pick up and drop off( great vehicle and relaible pickup )...their car rental charges are very competitive and open to a bit of neg.

I have used them a few times and can recommend.

Hi Ian

You can probably a good deal from Seveners if you hire a car from them on-line you get 20% of and 10% of in their restuarant.

In the near vacinity to the apartment you have JK's bar, Sempati Hotel, Flippers holiday village and a couple or restaurants within walking distance.

But to do shopping you need a car, Flippers have a small store which OK for milk bread cigs etc but not much else.

The Dolmus (bus) can be taken into town everyday the bus stop is behind JK's bar.

I live near the pines so give me a wave when you are over. Just look for the blonde bitch with the blue collar. (no its not me it is our dog Bella )

Chris

p.s. If anything else just e-mail me

Thanks for the great info Chris

Will certainly give JK's a visit when we arrive (just to ensure the beers cold).

Have now hired a car so we will be doing a bit of travelling but plan to use local transport as much as possible so that we can check the temperature of the beer in lots of different establishments.

If you see some one with glasses waving in July - it's me!

Cheers
