bus transfers from Larnaca airport to Nicosia??? help please

Hi,

can anyone tell me where the airport shuttle bus goes to in Nicosia? we understand that it goes to Filoxenia Cyprus Hotel & Catering Institute, but not too sure where this is and how near to the border crossing it is. please help, thanks

The Filoxmenia Hotel is a bit of a way from the Ledra Street border crossing. We took a taxi from the Nicosia Bus Station, which from memory was about 10 euros. The shuttle service itself is excellent. The buses are clean and modern and they drop right outside of the terminal.

Hi, sorry, I have just realised that you are going from the airport to Nicosia. I think you will still need to take a taxi to the border.

You can buy bus ticket in airport for 7euro to bus terminal and a taxi to ledra palace 7 to 10 euro i did it in july

Going to Larnaca Airport and want to do it yourself?



I checked all this out a couple of weeks ago as told by someone here that you could get the airport shuttle bus from the Holiday Inn just off Ledra St. You can - there are 2 ways to get to Larnaca Airport and Holiday Inn staff told me both same price.



Shared taxi to the airport cost Euro11 per person each way. You have to book in advance at the hotel reception for outward and inward journey.



Taxi from Holiday Inn to the airport shuttle bus station and then on the shuttle bus to the airport.



Told both cost the same.



Also anyone interested in going to Ikea/City Mall by bus. Go to the bus station (just before the Holiday Inn), bus number 55 and ask for Ikea, not sure on times as they didn't have any timetables printed but the cost is Euro 1 each way.



Hope this info is useful to anyone out there.

Here is an alternative.



You take the Green bus ( 7 Euros ) from Larnaca airport to Solomos Square in Greek Lefkosia, walk over to the North via Ledra Street or Ledra Palace.
