Directions please for Sempati Hotel

Hi

I'm arriving Saturday night and have to find my way to the Sempati hotel, Lapta in the dark. I know the way from Ercan to Girne & beyond, just need a couple of landmarks so I know when I'm nearby to turn off (is it a right turn towards the sea that I take?) Will be at the end of my rope after a long days travelling and don't fancy driving round in circles at the end of it - also would like to make it before the bar shuts! '-)

Sempati is on the right about one mile after the Lapta strip. How will you know you are on the lapta strip. You will see the LA Hotel on your left and the Celebrity hotel on your right. Perhaps some other people will give you some markers if you have gone too far past the sempati



Sempati is clearly signposed even in the dark

Go past the LA Hotel .... and you think that you have gone too far .... if you pass the 'Flippers Hotel on the left, it is directly opposite ...we alos look for sign for 'Galips Beach' ...same turning as Sempati ...



Is Ercan not collecting you ..we always had a free transfer from the airport?

To be fair Ercan did offer a free transfer, but I'm being met by Ismail with the A-One hire car - don't want them all fighting over me!

Thanks everyone, very helpful, I'm sure I'll find it now! Stayed at the Altinkaya on previous visits but we've bought in Lapta so I thought the Sempati would be handier while I get the house ready to live in. After weeks of rain I'm really looking forward to lazing by that pool on Sunday with a cool drink & a good book!

look for flippers hotel on your left after about 1 mile from lapta strip, take a right there then first right immediatly after jks bar ( you will not miss that ) go aprox 500 meters its on your left.
