Good news.

For all of those that remember the Old Milos restaurant in its hey day, you will be pleased to know that it is being renovated by and will be run by Alsancak Belediye and will open for the summer season.

I remember when I first came out to the TRNC and had some good times there. It was and still will be a superb and peaceful setting.

Watch this space for further news.

Coming into Alsancak Village take the turning into the one way system just past the Post Office and follow the road up without turning right or left and you will eventually find it right in front of you.

Bill

I don't know whether you have been there before, if not then next time you are out give me a shout and I will give you a guided tour. It also has the makings of a good live music venue.

I do not normally get excited about these sort of things but this one does it for me.

Never been in there when it was open, but always liked the look of it in the setting and it's design.

Our friends who live overlooking it may like to disagree with you AJ

Hipps

Yet again you jump to conclusions.

What I will be trying to set up will be purely acoustic/low amplification music.

I guess your friends probably don't want it to open at all.

Update:

Went and had a nose at the progress and spoke to my neighbor who works for Alsancak Beyeldiye and he reckons the renovations will be completed in 1 months time (add another 2 to that!) and the general theme is going to be catering for wedding parties and also a large barbecue garden (picnic area) whereby you take your own charcoal and food and just buy drinks from the bar.

Sounds good to me.
