Pafos to Kyrenia

Can any help with directions from Pafos to Kyrenia by car please - we are coming for the New Year and could only get flights to Pafos on the dates we wanted. Also can anyone recommend car hire companies that are fine for taking car over border. Thanks

we get chariots ( kyrenia) to pick us up at airport they take you to your place in north cyprus and then supply you with a hire car for your duration, pick you up on last day collect keys for hie car and take you back south to airport! dead easy regards andrew

go to amazon .co.uk on line and buy a map. we got one which covers both north and south cyprus with place names in both greek and turkish.

you will never need to ask directions again!

Directions from Paphos

Turn left out of the airport.

Follow signs for lemesos this will bring you on to the A6 it is about 50kms to Lemasos (Limassol).



When you get to Lemesos go straight over every roundabout and follow signs to Lefkosia this is about 75 kms on the A1

When approaching Lefkosia (Nicosia) you need to get off at junction 3 there is a football stadium on the left just before the junction, there is a sign for Kyrenia here.



Turn left onto the Strovolos road here, follow this road all the way, you will see signs for Kyrenia along this road. Go straight on at all roundabouts until you go up a hill and at the top is a T-junction you will see a big church on the right, turn right, follow this road until you get to a roundabout, this only has 3 exits, so take the one in front of you, you will have the Coca Cola factory on your right about 200 yards up the road, at the set of traffic lights opposite the Coke factory turn left, go to the bottom of this road and you will f

Sorry old directions there are NO roundabouts at Lemesos, it is a fly over far easyer now.
