larnaca airport to alsancak

Hi fellow forum friends

Looking for info on the most cost effective way of getting from Larnaca Airport to Alsancak without using taxis ---public transport only.One travellor only--- time and inconvenience not a problem end August/September likely months.

theres a bus that leaves paphos , picks up in larnaca , goes to kyrenia , its only once a week friday/satarday not sure , google it , thats how i found it .

Hi, the cheapest way is 1 euro bus from outside airport to Larnaca seafront in front of all the cafes. (they come around every 20 minutes).



Then the Intercity bus for 3 euro http://www.intercity-buses.com/ takes you right to the centre of Nicosia and then you can walk across the border at Ledra Street. I have done it and easy.



The http://www.kapnosairportshuttle.com is 8 euro I think and drops you at a different spot quite far out in Nicosia, apparently they do not want to make the transfer from airport to border easy. So when you get there you would have to take a taxis to border or bus??



This is what I found out when researching for hours on my last trip there, so I did the other option. And Larnaca sea front is gorgeous anyway, so not a prob if you have to wait there for a little while.
