Hey there, we are looking for suggestions on the best way to get two families over to the Waterworld Waterpark in Ayia Napa for the day, travelling from Esentepe. We understand that we can not take a TRNC Hire Car over the border and the quotes i have had for Southern Taxis seem a little high.....weve looked at a Famagusta Pick Up but that seems costly too. Has anyone else got any suggestions on the best way to get over for the day as the Waterpark is always a highlight of our holidays and paying £200 for Taxi's is totally unrealistic. Thanks

Why not drive to Iskele or famagusta then get a reliable taxi to take you over the border and back. I know from Iskele its about £80 return for a 7 person taxi.

Thanks for the suggestions, really appreciate your help. Just a quick, additonal question, i thought that we were unable to take a North Registered Hire Car to the South..... is that now not the case.... Thanks

I went over last August with my family (6 of us). Hired a taxi, 8 seater here in the North, £120 return. Don't forget to go on the Waterworld website & print your discount vouchers, saves a few £'s.

I would rather go to the Acapulco for the day. I went past the Water Park in February. It looks pretty sad. Certainly not worth the money.

Hasmet is the one I was recommending. I just couldnt remember his name! Very reliable and has different size taxis so can take 2 smaller ones over for the 2 families or one big one if you have no more than 8. He can also tell you where to leave your car/cars in Iskele area that will be safe. He often does airport runs so may be able to fit you in with them and save you more money.
