Cyprus44 ReviewWhen you see a North Cyprus property development advertisement taking up half a page in The Sunday Times Property pages, you know there is some serious money behind it. Savill's estate agency is one of the premier estate agents in the UK, and their involvement in the Thalassa Beach Resort development clearly shows that North Cyprus property investment has come of age. The Thalassa Beach Resort lies 2 miles west of Bafra on the southern coastline of the Karpas Peninsula, a rugged and beautiful panhandle of land that juts into the Mediterranean Sea. It's not a well-known area for development - yet - but with new hotels and casinos being built around nearby Bogaz, this kind of development could restore the fortunes of this stretch of coastline. After all, before 1974, Famagusta Bay was the playground for the rich and famous... Thalassa Beach Resort in North Cyprus combines top-end features and facilities with one killer selling point; the developer is the only holder of a license to built right on the beach front, not the usual 100 metres back. So, nothing will ever interrupt the sea view that every apartment enjoys. It also claims to be the only beach front resort with, quote, "100% secure Turkish title", and as an extra incentive, the developers are offering a guaranteed rent of 5% for two years. The apartments at the Thalassa Beach Resort certainly offer a lot of space for your money, combined with an unusual design for some that gives an extension out from the main body of the apartment into the light of the North Cyprus sun. The three bedroom apartment ‘F’ style, for example, features a generous sitting area well apart from the fitted kitchen and dining area, and with direct access into the terrace outside. The more conventionally-shaped rectangular apartment ‘G’ on the Grand Terrace enjoys a full width terrace and that ultimate holiday luxury, a walk-in wardrobe! The apartments at Thalassa Beach Resort enjoy a wealth of water-based facilities, including an 'aqua resort' with communal swimming pool, access to a private beach with activities laid on, a lagoon for water sports. For those who love to be pampered, the Thalassa Beach Resort offers residents and guests a spa, Turkish baths, sauna, gym and massage services, for a relaxing holiday in the North Cyprus sunshine. The Thalassa Beach Resort also offers plenty of ways to spend your holiday cash, from a top class restaurant and beach bar to a shopping area for that essential retail therapy. This is probably just as well, as the infrastructure around Bafra is not currently set up for large tourist numbers, and high quality restaurants and shops are currently very thin on the ground beyond the new five star resort hotels. However, in order to even find out prices for the Thalassa Beach Resort in Bafra North Cyprus, you need to register online, and give your telephone number. This smacks of the old-fashioned sales methods of time-share sellers in the past, and surely is not worthy of a company such as Savill's. Certainly they have a development to be proud of, so why be ashamed of the prices? Keeping them secret will not make the Thalassa Beach Resort any more, or less, exclusive.
